Despite the blown save and lose this game isn’t Manny Acosta‘s fault.  The Bisons had to stretch guys out since the big club had to take today’s schedule starter, Tobi Stoner, thanks to that ridiculous 20-inning affair.  Acosta threw 44 pitches, well above his normal.  Otherwise a pretty good game from the Bison.  Ike Davis had a good going away game as he went 2-5 in what appears to be his last game in AAA. For now at least.  Josh Thole struggled behind the plate throwing out only 1 of 4 would be base stealers.

A bit of a bean fest up in New Hampshire.  There were 5 hit by pitches in the game.  3 Fisher Cats (3 batters by 3 different pitchers) and 2 B-Mets (both Lucas Duda)  The offense otherwise sucked managing just 1 hit, a home run by Luis Hernandez in the 6th inning.  Eric Niesen continued his stretch of wild outings, walking 3 batters and pitching his way out of the game by the 4th inning.  The man has great stuff just needs to harness it.

Great game from Armando Rodriguez.  He tired out a bit at the end and took the loss, but still struck out over 1 per innings and more importantly walked none.  Without Wilmer Flores in the lineup the offense just sprinkled 6 hits and 2 runs in the game.
