| Scouting Report | ||
| Mejia’s best weaponsco is his fastball. Despite a short frame Mejia is able to get his fastball upwards of 97 mph while sitting 93-95. His ball has great natural late sink and cutting action that makes it difficult for hitters to square up. Throws a big breaking 12-6 curveball that needs some refinement, but has potential as a plus offering and also throws a fading changeup. Biggest weakness is his delivery that has a lot of effort behind it. This is the reason for his great velocity, but puts a lot of strain on his arm. | ||
