Shockingly Ollie P had a good game today. He was able to go more than 6 innings, only walked 2 batters, and struck out a batter per inning. He did give up a lot of hits, but the most important thing for Ollie is the walks. If he can ever manage to keep those down he will be more 'successful'. [...]

Mets Sign Chad Cordero, Buffalo Affiliate Signs Extension
Earlier today Ken Rosenthal reported that the Mets reached an agreement with Chad Cordero on a minor league deal. Cordero was pitching fairly well at AAA this year with the Tacoma Rainiers going 0-1 with a 4.12 ERA in 17 games while earning 6 saves.
