Summary: Omar personally went to watch this kid play yesterday and I guess he was impressed because all the talk today was about how it appears the Mets will draft this pick tomorrow. He is the best two way player in the draft and his being called the Casey Kelly of his class, however, most think he will succeed more as a hitter than a pitcher. He has good stuff as a pitcher, but is more of a “thrower” type and if the Mets draft him you can bet it will be to play behind the plate. He would be a bit of a reach at number 7, but not enough to flip out about because if the Mets like him as much as they do they have to take him here because there is no way he around by their second pick.
