W: Rosario, J (6-2, 1.99); L: Waechter (3-2, 6.98)
HR: JUP: Dominguez, M (9), Tripp (7).
Nick Waechter took Brant Rustich’s spot again as Rustich has not been in any live games for 2 weeks now and Waechter was lit up as was Tim Stronach. Recently promoted Stefan Welch and rehabbing Angel Pagan each had 2 hits both with a single, double, and RBI.

Recap | Box |
W: Beaulac (5-4, 2.54); L: Lee (1-3, 2.35)
Eric Beaulac is still being forced to start because of an Elvin Ramirez injury, but boy does he look good. Only went 5 innings due to a high pitch count, but was able to strike out 9 batters and record another 3 outs via the groundball leaving only 2 flyball outs. Really good splits all around including only 2 walks.

Same thing with the 1st place Cyclones everyday. Good pitching, bad hitting, win.

Zach Van Tersch was god on awful, which is not a good sign and it doesn’t appear as if he is going to regain the stuff he had in his sophmore year. Fellow 2009 draft pick Brian Needham was great in relief going 4.2 scoreless striking out 3 batters. Jeff Flagg will probably be promoted to Brooklyn soon as the Wilpon’s will want to get some bats up there for their baby.
